A Chance for Change Benefit Concert 

 A benefit concert, and Spaghetti Supper has been scheduled on Saturday, August
20th, 2011 at the First Southern Baptist Church on Hwy 270 East, near
Sheridan. New Reason from New Edinburg, AR, Pardoned, from Sheridan Ar, and the
Mt Tabor Youth choir Praise team from Jessieville, AR and others are set to
appear to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation, which is a
worldwide organization that depends on donations for research for a cure for the
many children diagnosed with the disease every year. Chance Doering, an 8 year
old from Sheridan AR, was diagnosed in April 2010, and his team walks each year
to raise money for the organization. Chance will be making a special appearance
at the event and a video will be shown to make others more aware of the
disease.
   The exciting gospel trio, New Reason, consists of sisters, Mechelle Brown, and Tammy
Dixon, who spent many years with their family group before joining with soloist
Captain Smead, and formed New Reason in 2007. They have performed at the
National Quartet Convention and perform across the nation. Pardoned, has also
performed full time the past 15 years, and have won numerous talent awards in
gospel music. The Mt Tabor Youth Choir and Praise Team are a wonderful group of
kids that love to play and sing to the Lord. They offer a full praise band are
very talented. The Spaghetti Supper will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the fellowship
hall of the church, and donations would be appreciated. The concert will begin
at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. No admission will be charged, however a free will
offering will be taken and all proceeds from the food and concert will be given
to JDRF for the walk in September, A Chance for Change! The pastor is Josh
Thompson, and the public and all youth are invited to attend the supper and

Pardoned Ministries will host the Gaither Recording Artist, Ann Downing on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 7:00pm. The concert will be held at Fort Reach Church in Morrilton, Arkansas. Admission is free but an offering will be taken. Please see attached flyer for further concert information.
